ABOUT

 

OWLS is an acronym for Older Wiser Learning Seniors. It is a program designed to embrace the aging population. The name describes the participants.



 This program focuses on learning new things, sharing ideas and opinions in a friendly;  safe environment.   Each Thursday session includes a chair exercise class with a certified personal trainer to maintain our range of motion and balance.  The programs feature conversation and balanced nutrition as we enjoy a meal together each week.  Learning subject matter covers just about anything proposed by the participants. Schedules are published monthly.

 

Silver Stretch - is a chair exercise class. It is designed to maintain full range of motion. Each individual is encouraged to only do what they can and absolutely nothing that hurts. We use 2# weights, stretch bands and balls. We work on loosening up tightness, coordination and balance all while safely seated in straight back chairs.
